Junk if you need it wireless

 

Save yourself the time and buy a better brand unless you plan to keep it on a wired network.

Clear picture when used on a wired connection

Will not connect to my wireless network. Spent 8 hours trying to get it to work. Even changed the network to unsecured, still would not connect

Hawking HNC290G Camera

 

I wish I could subtract an egg from my previous review. Buy any other internet camera. It will be better than this one. I hope Newegg can get a refund from Hawking. This is not the fault of Newegg - they are a great company.

This is a continuation of my previous review of this camera. Newegg's shipping was unbelieveably fast. This camera has good video when it's not locked up

Bright light seems to lock up the camera. Motion detection doesn't work at all. The picture sent is nothing but trash and is totally distorted. Hawking tech support will not answer their 24 hour support line and if they do they will hang up on you....
